Artificial intelligence technology is profoundly transforming global industrial structures and employment markets, imposing new demands on the cultivation of high-level technical professionals. As a critical component in training application-oriented talents, the innovative development of vocational undergraduate education is essential for adapting to the intelligent era. This paper thoroughly examines the novel requirements posed by the intelligent era for vocational undergraduate talent development and analyzes the fundamental challenges currently faced by vocational undergraduate education in areas such as curriculum design, practical teaching, assessment standards, and interdisciplinary integration. Specifically, the study identifies gaps in existing curricula that fail to align with rapidly evolving industry needs, insufficient integration of hands-on training with theoretical instruction, outdated evaluation mechanisms that do not adequately capture competency-based outcomes, and limited cross-disciplinary collaboration across academic departments. To address these issues, the study proposes a series of innovative approaches, including establishing dynamically adaptive curriculum models that respond to real-time technological shifts, enhancing industry-education collaboration through structured partnership frameworks, refining diversified evaluation systems that incorporate both formative and summative assessments, and fostering interdisciplinary integration to cultivate well-rounded professionals. The proposed strategies are grounded in a comprehensive review of current pedagogical practices and emerging trends in intelligent technology adoption. Ultimately, this research aims to provide robust theoretical support and actionable practical insights for advancing the high-quality development of vocational undergraduate education in China, contributing to the broader goal of building a skilled workforce capable of thriving in an increasingly intelligent and interconnected global economy.References
