Abstract

Pediatric anorexia is one of the four major pediatric conditions today. With the continuous increase in the number of newborns in China, the number of children suffering from anorexia has also been rising steadily. Given this serious situation, it is essential to pay high attention and give priority to pediatric anorexia in both clinical practice and family environments. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has accumulated valuable clinical experience in treating pediatric anorexia. This article aims to review and analyze the current status and breakthrough progress achieved by TCM in treating pediatric anorexia in recent years, providing a solid theoretical foundation and practical guidance for clinical application.
