Particularly under China's impetus, the signing of free trade agreements such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) signifies a new phase in Asia's regional economic cooperation. As the world's second-largest economy, China, with its vast market and vigorous economic growth, plays an increasingly pivotal role in regional economic collaboration.
