Abstract

The integration of ideological and political education with mental health courses in vocational undergraduate institutions plays a crucial role in promoting the coordinated development of both disciplines, effectively addressing the comprehensive development needs of students. Mental health education primarily aims to cultivate students' psychological well-being, enhance their emotional resilience, and support their healthy personal and academic growth. This paper examines the implementation of ideological and political education within mental health curricula at vocational undergraduate institutions, highlighting its significance in shaping students' values, fostering social responsibility, and strengthening moral awareness.
