Abstract

With the deepening of globalization, communication across different languages and cultures has become more frequent and important. However, due to significant differences in language, customs, values, and other factors, cultural conflicts and misunderstandings often occur in cross-cultural communication. This paper explores the strategies and roles of translation and interpretation. It focuses on how they address cultural differences in multilingual communication. Through the analysis of typical cases, it explores the impact of cultural background on translation choices and discusses the strategies translators should take when dealing with cultural differences. This study emphasizes that translators and interpreters should possess cultural sensitivity and cross-cultural communication skills to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of information transmission in diverse cultural contexts.
