Abstract

In the context of the global advancement of urban renewal and the increasing importance of sports cultural exchanges as an essential carrier of cross-cultural communication, international Chinese education serves as a core medium connecting Chinese and foreign cultures. Furthermore, it plays a pivotal role in facilitating the seamless integration of foreign demographic groups into rapidly evolving metropolitan environments. Consequently, the intersection of international Chinese education with sports cultural exchanges and urban renewal initiatives holds significant theoretical and practical value. Currently, interdisciplinary cross-research addressing these three interconnected domains remains relatively scarce. Moreover, contemporary international Chinese education frequently experiences a critical disconnection in terms of pedagogical content, practical scenarios, educational resources, and teacher training when aligned with urban renewal and sports cultural exchanges. To address these critical gaps, this paper employs a comprehensive methodology encompassing literature review, case analysis, and logical analysis to rigorously define core concepts and clarify the underlying internal connections among the three fields. By systematically analyzing existing structural and pedagogical problems, this study proposes targeted, innovative optimization paths. Ultimately, the primary aim of this research is to provide robust academic references and practical frameworks for substantially improving the overall quality and operational efficiency of international Chinese education within the broader context of urban renewal. This approach not only promotes deeper cross-cultural integration but also significantly enhances the cultural soft power and global competitiveness of modern cities.
