This study investigates the practical teaching of preschool modern drums through an integrated pedagogical framework that synthesizes Orff Schulwerk principles, multimedia technology, and gamified learning design. Grounded in developmental appropriateness and embodied musical cognition, the approach prioritizes sensory-motor engagement, rhythmic improvisation, and collaborative play over technical notation or instrument mastery. A longitudinal classroom-based intervention was implemented across six preschool settings, involving 142 children aged four to six years, eight early childhood music educators, and a custom-designed multimedia toolkit featuring interactive audio-visual feedback, adaptive rhythm scaffolding, and narrative-driven musical challenges. Qualitative and quantitative data were collected through structured observation protocols, educator reflective journals, child-generated musical artifacts, and standardized behavioral engagement metrics. Findings indicate significant gains in rhythmic accuracy, sustained attention during musical tasks, peer-mediated co-regulation, and expressive confidence-particularly among children with diverse neurodevelopmental profiles. The fusion model demonstrates how Orff's elemental philosophy can be meaningfully extended-not replaced-by digital interactivity when guided by pedagogical intentionality rather than technological novelty. Implications point toward a reconceptualization of early drumming not as preparatory instrumental training but as a holistic modality for social-emotional, cognitive, and sensorimotor integration in early childhood.References
